Roco Kingdom Map: All 44 Spawn Zones and Wild Jini Counts

A reference map of Roco Kingdom's spawn zones, the wild Jini count in each, how day and night spawns differ, and how to travel between regions.

Last Updated: 2026-10-27

Quick answer: the world map is split into 44 spawn zones and 56 towns, buildings and landmarks across 100 named locations. The richest zones in the current records are Giant's Canyon North and Wreckshore (39 species each), followed by Scavenger's Port (37) and Giant's Canyon South (35). The starting valley, Breeze Valley, has 14. Spawn tables change between day and night, and a zone's count is the number of species recorded there, not the number of Jini on screen.

How the Map Is Organised

The map is a single open world divided into named zones rather than a set of separate levels. Each zone has:

  • A spawn table of wild Jinies, split into daytime and nighttime pools
  • A level band, which the beta does not display until you enter
  • Resource nodes, chests and quest markers
  • A nearest fast-travel point, usually a statue or camp

Towns and landmarks are separate from spawn zones. They hold vendors, quest givers and dungeons, and they are where the travelling merchant appears on a schedule.

Counts are species, not spawn rates

A zone with 39 species is not 39 times richer than a zone with one. It has more variety. The beta does not expose spawn percentages, so this table cannot tell you how rare a specific Jini is.

All Spawn Zones

Counts are the number of wild species recorded in the current build. The Academy is a story hub with no wild spawns.

The Best Zones by Species Count

If you are filling the dex, these are the zones worth a dedicated trip:

  1. Giant's Canyon North (39) — the densest zone in the game, and the entrance to the dragon story arc.
  2. Wreckshore (39) — a coastal wreck site with a mix of Water, Wing and Spectral species.
  3. Scavenger's Port (37) — the largest port, with vendors and a dense spawn table.
  4. Giant's Canyon South (35) — the southern half of the canyon, with a different pool from the north.
  5. Lightsheir (34) and Moonvale Shores (34) — the capital region and the lake shore, both broad mid-game zones.

The smallest pools are Wingstead Village (4) and The Citadel (6), which are story locations first and spawn zones second.

Day and Night Spawns

Several zones have a separate nighttime pool. The map UI switches the spawn layer when the in-game clock crosses dusk, and some species only appear in the dark. The beta does not list which species are nocturnal, so the practical approach is to revisit a zone at night before concluding a species is missing.

Weather is a second modifier. Rain and fog events change what appears in coastal and forest zones, and the effect is not documented in the dex.

Travel and Fast Travel

The world is traversable on foot, by mount and by air. Fast travel unlocks at discovered points and is free; the beta does not charge currency for it. Long-distance travel between provinces usually requires a story flag, so a new zone cannot be skipped by flying straight there.

Mounts are captured Jinies, not purchased vehicles. A flying mount is needed for the aerial zones, and the beta gates flight behind a story chapter.

Zones and Story Progress

Spawn zones are level-banded even though the band is hidden. Entering a late zone early is possible, but wild Jinies there will outlevel your team. The rough order the story follows is:

  • Windrest Province and Breeze Valley
  • Merchant Town and the academy outskirt
  • Lightsheir and the central lake
  • Crystal Forest and the eastern coast
  • Giant's Canyon and the dragon arc
  • The Citadel and the endgame zones

That order is a reading of the quest flow, not an official level chart.
