Roco Kingdom System Requirements: PC and Mobile
What is known about Roco Kingdom PC and mobile requirements, the Chinese client's reported specs and how to test your device.
Quick answer: Tencent has not published global system requirements. The Chinese PC client's launch coverage lists an Intel i5-7500 or Ryzen 5 1400, GTX 960 2GB, 16 GB RAM as the baseline, and that is the best available proxy for the global build. On mobile, the test uses a device compatibility check rather than a published list, so a phone that runs other Unreal-style open worlds may still be rejected.

PC Requirements (Chinese Client, Reported)
| Component | Reported minimum |
|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i5-7500 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400 |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 960 2 GB |
| RAM | 16 GB |
| Storage | SSD recommended |
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit |
| Network | Always online |
These figures come from the Chinese launch coverage, not from a global store page. Treat them as a floor rather than a target: an open-world game with streaming assets runs much better with 16 GB and an SSD than the minimum suggests.
The global build may have different requirements, especially on the GPU side. Tencent has not posted a spec sheet, and the Steam page currently has no requirements section.
What Actually Matters
- RAM is the biggest bottleneck on PC. 8 GB machines stutter when entering towns.
- SSD cuts load times more than any graphics setting.
- VRAM matters at 1440p; 2 GB is enough for 1080p medium, not for high textures.
- CPU matters in towns, where many players and NPCs are on screen.
- Network matters for co-op; the game is always online.
If you are below the reported minimum, the beta will still launch on some machines, but the frame rate in Lightsheir will be poor.
Mobile Compatibility
There is no published list of supported phones. The store listing hides itself from devices that fail the check, which is why "not available for your device" is the most common mobile error. In practice, the check looks at:
- Chipset tier (flagship chips from the last two to three years)
- RAM (8 GB and up is safe)
- Free storage for the asset packs
- OS version (recent Android or iOS)
A device that passes the check can still throttle. The beta has no official low-end preset, only a resolution scale and a frame-rate cap.
Settings That Help
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Resolution scale | 80–90% on mid-range GPUs |
| Shadows | Low; the visual gain is small |
| Crowd density | Medium; this is CPU-bound |
| Anti-aliasing | FXAA rather than TAA on low-end |
| Frame cap | 60 on PC, 30 on mobile |
| Motion blur | Off |
The biggest single win on a weak PC is dropping shadow quality and capping the frame rate. On mobile, lowering resolution scale is more effective than turning off effects.
Storage and Patches
The install is large and grows with patches. Leave at least 20 GB free on PC beyond the reported install size, and several GB on mobile for asset packs. The launcher needs temporary space to unpack patches, which is why a "not enough space" error can appear even when the game fits.
Console
Xbox Series X|S has a store listing but no published requirements or build. There is nothing to benchmark yet.

FAQ
What are the official PC requirements? Tencent has not published global requirements. The Chinese client's reported baseline is i5-7500, GTX 960, 16 GB RAM.
Will it run on 8 GB RAM? It may launch, but towns will stutter. 16 GB is the reported baseline.
Is an SSD required? Not technically, but load times and streaming are much worse on a hard drive.
Which phones are supported? There is no published list. The store hides the game from devices that fail the compatibility check.
Does the game need an internet connection? Yes. It is always online, including solo play.
